Mobile phone sales price-dependent in India

Price is the leading factor for most Indians in purchase of mobile phones, while globally buyers are looking more at features with cost being a secondary issue. According to a survey carried out by Vuclip, an independent mobile video service, 36 per cent of Indian respondents gave priority to price while 26 per cent looked for features above anything else.

In contrast, globally, features was the main factor for 33 per cent of respondents, while price was the second-most important criteria.Source
